Flamengo takes to the court against Pinheiros in the NBB
The red-black team is unbeaten in 11 games, leading the championship alone.

This Saturday (February 01.02st), at 19:15 PM, Flamengo will be looking for its eleventh consecutive victory in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The current champion will host Pinheiros at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gymnasium, in a match valid for the 22nd round of the competition.
A standout player for the team in recent games, Argentinian Laprovittola is enjoying an excellent run of form and is one of coach José Neto's trump cards in the quest for another victory. Consistently selected by the National Basketball League for the Team of the Week, the point guard says that playing outside his country is an extra motivation.
"I believe what motivates me most is having left my country for the first time to play as a foreigner. This gives me a great desire to grow and develop as a player. I want to always be focused on improving with each match. Of course, the team helps me a lot too. My teammates, the coaching staff, Neto, make me feel comfortable. I hope to stay in good form to help the team achieve another victory," he said.
Last week, Nico achieved an unprecedented feat this NBB season: he was elected Player of the Year by the LNB twice in a row, after victories over Goiânia and Brasília. The Argentine averaged 23 points, 6 assists, 6,5 rebounds and 2,5 steals per game.
