Flamengo takes to the court for the fourth game of the LDB
After three defeats, the team tries to recover against Bauru

Flamengo's under-22 basketball team takes to the court this Monday (27.07) seeking recovery in the Basketball Development League (LDB). In the first three games, the red-blacks lost to Limeira (66 to 63), Rio Claro (76 to 49) and Franca (75 to 64). This afternoon, the opponent will be Bauru, at 16 pm, on Court 3 of Praia Clube, in Uberlândia-MG.
Against Rio Claro, Mingau and Pablo each scored ten points, but Flamengo was unable to impose its style on the court and its opponent was superior for most of the game. After a balanced first quarter (11-14), Flamengo tried to react in the second period, winning the set 17-14, but lost the second quarters of the match (12-22 and 9-26).
In the match against Franca, the teams played a fairly even game for three quarters, but the team from the interior of São Paulo demonstrated greater decisiveness. With a strong performance in the final quarter (25-15), Franca prevailed. For Flamengo, the standout performer was point guard Pablo, who recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. He believes Flamengo can regain victory with more focus in the final minutes of the match.
"We played solidly, but we're having trouble closing out games. The same thing happened in the other two games we played, and our performance dropped off significantly in the final quarter. We've been playing well in the first three quarters, but we need to be more focused in the final stretch. We have four more games in this stretch, and we'll talk to try to correct our mistakes," he analyzed.
