This Saturday (08.03), after a break for the League of the Americas, Flamengo faces Bauru for the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), at 18 pm, at Tijuca Tênis Clube. Qualified, with ease, for the Final Four of the continental competition, Rubro-Negro is the isolated leader in the NBB, with 20 wins in 24 matches.

With 135 points, Marquinhos is Flamengo's top scorer in the Liga das Américas and hopes to maintain his high level in the NBB. "I'm feeling great, improving with each game. The team is also doing very well. We haven't played in the NBB for a long time, and now we're back with everything we've got, and in a match at home, we have to win," said Marquinhos.

The next NBB matchup will be on March 10th, between Flamengo and Limeira, at Tijuca Tênis Clube, at 20 pm. This match was postponed from the 06th to next Monday due to Flamengo's participation in the Liga das Américas. In addition to this match, Macaé vs. Flamengo was postponed from 19 pm on March 15th to 17:30 pm on the same day, and São José vs. Flamengo was moved from February 27th to March 17th.

Gift for women

The match against Bauru will be held on Women's Day, and as a gift to those honored on that day, five women will be called during halftime to compete in a free throw contest. The winner and runner-up will receive exclusive Flamengo gifts. All participants will receive a pair of tickets to the next basketball game, on the 10th, against Limeira, also at the TTC, at 20 p.m.
