Douglas and Felício were the standouts of the first quarter, scoring all of the team's points and all of the rebounds together: four each. The center also thrilled the crowd with a beautiful dunk. The Mais Querido (Most Beloved) closed out the lead with a 14-10 run. In the second quarter, Chupeta also excelled as a rebounder, with three, while Felício added two. The team went into halftime leading 26-20.

The game picked up pace in the third quarter. Brasília managed to come back, but Flamengo ended up ahead, winning 45-41. Felício went into the fourth quarter needing one more rebound to achieve his fourth consecutive double-double. The fourth quarter started slowly, with few baskets; the teams combined to score just six points by the halfway point. With little to finish the game, Fla managed to reach a nine-point lead and remained ahead on the scoreboard until the end, guaranteeing their place in the finals.

"Today the team showed enormous maturity and played with great awareness. Despite being young, the group is very focused and we worked through this competition step by step. Now, the great moment has arrived to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to be champion," praised Paulo Chupeta, coach of the Rubro-Negro.
