On Friday night (26) Flamengo entered the court to face Brasília in the semifinal of the League of the Americas (LDA). Debuting in the second phase of the competition, the Pride of the Nation triumphed over the opponent in the Brazilian classic that crossed borders with a score of 106 to 93. 

Experienced captain Marcelinho Machado led the way with 15 points. Other scorers in double figures in the match included Marquinhos, who scored 14 points, as well as Jerome Meyinsse, JP Batista with 13, Ronald Ramón with 12, and Jason Robinson with 10.

In the second quarter, the tie was maintained, but the team from Brasília came out on top, managing to turn the game around and winning by just two points: Flamengo 37 x 39 Brasília. 

The marking and attacking of both teams were the highlights of the third quarter, which, second by second, remained closely contested. The Brasília team once again closed the period with a two-point lead: Flamengo 68-70 Brasília. The final ten minutes were decisive for the "Mais Querido" (Best Loved Team), which by this point was triumphing over its opponent. With determination and determination, Flamengo pressured Brasília, which eventually gave in to the red-and-black game's rhythm until the clock ran out. The result: Flamengo 106-93 Brasília.

Next Saturday (26), Flamengo will face Correcaminos Colón (PAN), at 18:45 pm (Brasília time), with live broadcast on SporTV channels and real time on Mengão's official Twitter.
