The first challenge will be against Cabo Frio, at 20:30 pm, at the Municipal Club gym. The following day, the team faces Iguaçu, at the same location and time. And, on Sunday (14.11), Flamengo returns to the court against Tijuca, at 11 am, at the Tijuca Tênis Clube.
\For the first game, the team will be without shooting guard Duda, who is recovering from a sprained right ankle, and power forward Jefferson, who has a grade 2 adductor injury in his right thigh. On the other hand, forward Teichmann, who has recovered from a left leg injury, returns to the team.
\"This week, with three games, we've reduced the training volume to avoid overexerting the players. The goal is to rest. On non-game days, we do technical training in the morning and weight training in the afternoon," explained fitness coach Rafael Bernardelli.
\For point guard Hélio, the games will be important to give the players rhythm.
\"These matches are good preparation for the South American League finals. Furthermore, we have some players with injury problems, and the more opportunities we have to prepare for the competition, the better," said the point guard.
