Flamengo begins its participation in the second phase of the Basketball Development League this Tuesday (20). Playing in the Under-20 category, Mais Querido will be in group C, along with Minas Tênis Clube, Paulistano and São José. The teams will face each other and the two best placed will advance to the semifinals. The red-black squad's debut will be against Paulistano, at Ginásio Antônio Prado Jr, at 18 pm.
João Vitor is Flamengo's standout player in this LDB. The center, also a member of the senior squad, averages 10.2 points and 7.2 rebounds. Wing Danilo is also a standout on the team. Averaging 9.6 points and 2.9 assists, the number 7 has the experience of working alongside the senior squad.
