On Monday afternoon (December 01.12st), Flamengo took to the court for the eighth round of the Basketball Development League (LDB) against strong opponent Basquete Cearense, the undefeated leader of the competition. The red-and-black team was ahead on the scoreboard until the last quarter, when they suffered a comeback. The final score was 82-67 for the Ceará team. The standout player for Flamengo in the match was point guard Chupeta, with 18 points and four rebounds.

The next match for coach Paulo Chupeta's team will be at the same gymnasium, Sport Clube, in Recife, against Anápolis, this Tuesday (December 02.12nd), at noon. The match will be valid for the ninth round of the LDB.
