On Tuesday night (17.02), Flamengo lost to Minas by 88 to 62, in a duel valid for the third round of the fourth stage of the Basketball Development League (LDB), at the opponent's home, Arena Minas. The match was a repeat of the last final of the competition, won by Rubro-Negro. The highlight of the red-black team on the court was center Cristiano Felício, author of a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds.

The first quarter of the match was largely dominated by the Minas Gerais team, who won the set with a large advantage: 8-22. Flamengo began to react in the second period (15-22), managed to tie the third period (18-18) and lost the last set by just five points, but Minas managed the advantage built at the beginning of the match well.

Even without the positive result, Flamengo remains at the limit of the group of the top eight placed in the LDB, which qualifies for the next phase, now with 34 points, tied with Franca, Mogi das Cruzes, Bauru and Brasília; the club is in third in the tiebreaker between the five teams.
