Flamengo loses to Mogi in the opening round of the semifinal playoff
The next two games of the decisive series will take place in Rio de Janeiro
By Ricardo Taves - inIn the opening of the NBB CAIXA semifinal series, Flamengo ended up being defeated by Mogi, away from home. Even with a great reaction from Flamengo at the end, the São Paulo team overcame the Pride of the Nation, winning 86-81 and taking a 1-0 lead in the playoff. The next two games will take place at Tijuca Tênis Clube. Next Friday (06) and the following Monday (09), both at 21pm. The Flamengo Nation will play alongside the team.

1st bedroom
The game started at a frantic pace, with the Mogi team applying pressure and causing difficulties for Flamengo. Without Olivinha, the Mengão's starting five took a few minutes to find the right rhythm, but eventually balanced the game and closed the gap on the scoreboard. The first period ended with a two-point advantage for the home team: 20-18.

Fueled by the crowd and the excitement, Mogi dominated much of the second quarter and even opened up a 12-point lead. José Neto had to call a timeout. Through conversation and using all the variables the team had trained, Flamengo reacted and gradually closed the gap. At the end of the first half, the opponent's lead had fallen to five points: 39-34.
3st bedroom
In the third quarter, Mogi opened up a significant lead on the scoreboard. With great efficiency in their attempts, whether for two or three points, the home team scored 27-17 in the period and went into the final quarter winning 66-51.
4st bedroom
Trailing far behind on the scoreboard, Flamengo pressed forward trying to reduce the deficit. With a great fourth quarter (30-20), the team closed the gap towards the end, but it wasn't enough.
