Flamengo was defeated by Mogi on Monday night (09) in the third game of the NBB CAIXA semifinal playoff. Now, the Pride of the Nation needs to win the next two matches to once again reach the competition's final. The fourth game will take place next Saturday (14), at 14:10 pm, in Mogi. The fifth game, if necessary, will be in Rio de Janeiro on the 17th.

Encouraged by the fans, Flamengo's basketball team sought to control the match from the start. With the Tijuca stadium packed with nearly two thousand people and featuring soccer players like Cuéllar, Ederson, Mancuello, Felipe Vizeu, César Martins, and others, the Pride of the Nation faced many challenges. In the first quarter, the São Paulo team opened up an advantage and closed the first ten minutes with a 24-13 lead.
In the second quarter, Rubro-Negro balanced the actions and scored 18 points against just 13 from the opponent, a performance that was repeated in the third part of the game, with 31x24 for Mengão and the game completely open for the last and decisive quarter.
In the final ten minutes of the game, Mogi was more effective, opened up an advantage and ended up winning 83-77.
