Flamengo holds last week of training in 2010

Buoyed by the victory over Paulistano (116 x 76) in the last round of the year of the NBB (Novo Basquete Brasil), on Sunday (19.12), and by winning the sixth state championship on the 16th, the Flamengo basketball team is carrying out its last training sessions of 2010 this week. This Tuesday (21.12), the team will have a water aerobics class starting at 15:30 pm, in the club's swimming pool, in Gávea.
Starting on the 24th, the group will have a well-deserved break and will return to work on January 02.01nd. Their next NBB match will be on January 07.01th, against Joinville, at 20 pm, at Tijuca Tênis Clube. Flamengo has five wins and one loss in the competition. After that, the team heads to Ibarra, Ecuador, for the first round of the Liga das Américas. Flamengo is in Group C, which also includes Mavort (EQU) and Quimsa (ARG). Flamengo's debut will be on the 11th, against the home team.
Over the past three months, Flamengo has competed in three competitions simultaneously: the State Championship, the South American League, and the National Brazilian Championship. In total, they played 27 games, winning 24 and losing only three (two in the League and one in the National Brazilian Championship).
