This Saturday (28.03), Flamengo returns to action at Tijuca TC, to face São José, in the 25th round of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The Rubro-Negro is coming off a playoff-worthy victory, a result that guaranteed the team a spot in the knockout stage, directly in the quarterfinals, after establishing itself among the top four in advance. Last Wednesday (25.03), at Tijuca Tênis Clube, the Orgulho da Nação took the court with a campaign identical to that of Mogi das Cruzes, fighting directly for third place. In the end, FlaBasquete stood out in the final minutes and came out on top (87 to 83).

Meanwhile, their opponent from the interior of São Paulo sits in ninth place with a 44.4% success rate. In their last match of the competition, São José defeated Macaé in a thrilling 105-103 victory. Trailing from the start, the team turned the tables in the final minutes to secure the away victory.

In the first match between Flamengo and Macaé in this edition of the NBB, in December 2014, the Red-Black team won 94-71 at the Lineu de Moura gymnasium. This time, the Mais Querido is looking for another victory at home, and José Neto's team is counting on you to go after their fourth championship: Click here, buy your tickets and get the first month free as a fan member.
