Flamengo hosts the second stage of the LDB 2025 in Gávea starting this Wednesday

The second stage of the Basketball Development League (LDB) – the main youth competition in Brazilian basketball – began this Tuesday (29). Flamengo will host its group A.2 games at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium, in Gávea, starting this Wednesday (30).

The first match of the day, between CETAF and Vasco/Tijuca, took place at 9:30 a.m. Also on Wednesday, Flamengo will make its competition debut against Fortaleza at 14 p.m. Flamengo will play its matches in this stage at home after playing away in the first half, held at Paulistano Stadium in São Paulo.

In addition to the four teams already mentioned, the teams Botafogo and UNIFACISA also participate in this stage. The round runs until next Monday (5), with three games per day. 

The LDB is organized by the National Basketball League (LNB) in partnership with the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB), and its main objective is to develop young talent and strengthen the youth categories in national basketball.
