In a sequence of away games for the NBB, Flamengo maintained its 100% record by beating Pato Basquete 91-64, on Saturday afternoon (22), at the Sesi Pato Branco Gymnasium. Faverani, who came on during the match, was the standout with 18 points. Now, Rubro-Negro will make its home debut, at Maracanãzinho, next Tuesday (25) against Fortaleza.

The game
The match began with Pato hitting three-pointers early on. Olivinha scored Flamengo's first two points of the game. The red-and-black team worked the ball up front, looking for space to shoot. Rafael Rachel was responsible for Flamengo's first three-pointer. The match looked very even, with a lot of competition for possession. Gui Deodato came out on top on offense and scored his first two points. Then, Penka Aguirre, in the dead zone, converted a three-pointer to open up a 13-18 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Early in the second period, Gabriel Jaú received the ball in a position to score three more points for Orgulho da Nação, who were playing well. Faverani entered the game and immediately showed his calling card with a three-pointer. "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved) opened up a ten-point lead. Pato, after two technical timeouts, managed to reduce the red-and-blacks' lead, but Gustavinho's team increased the lead again late on with two three-pointers from Cuello: 22-37.

After halftime, Gui Deodato warmed up and converted a three-pointer. With ease, the Pride of the Nation managed to open up a significant lead. Faverani scored five consecutive points, hitting doubles and triples. Gui Deodato's shots began to fall. The number 1 converted another three-pointer and was the star of the quarter, alongside Cuello, who was also having an excellent game. FlaBasquete closed the period with a massive 37-67 lead.

In the final quarter, coach Gustavinho brought on Matheus Leoni, who performed brilliantly, scoring five straight points. Pato Basquete improved throughout the match and staged a comeback, but the significant lead gained in the third quarter allowed the red-and-black team to comfortably control the game. With that, FlaBasquete secured its third consecutive victory in the NBB: 64-91.
