Flamengo prepares for the second stage of the Basketball Development League
After a break of almost a month, Rubro-Negro will return to play in the LDB. Grêmio Náutico União is the first opponent.

Flamengo will return to play in the Basketball Development League next Wednesday (July 31.07), against Grêmio Náutico União, in São José dos Campos (SP). The match will mark the beginning of the second stage of the classification phase of the competition, which also has four other games to be played in the city of São Paulo.
"We expect a strong series. It's a marathon, and we've been training daily with various team formations to create a strong rotation and maintain our level. The squad is well-assembled, aware of its responsibilities, and prepared for the games," said Paulo Chupeta, Flamengo's coach, who will have a key reinforcement for the upcoming matches: point guard Gegê. In addition, winger Dedé Pizzolato will also be making his debut for Flamengo in the competition.
After playing nine matches, Flamengo finished the first stage of the Basketball Development League with a 100% record. After the upcoming five games in São José dos Campos, the competition will be paused again, and the red-and-black team will not return to action until August 28.08th in Rio de Janeiro.
