Flamengo will host the South American group draw

The event will feature a press conference attended by basketball officials and red-and-black stars.

Confirmed as host of the final hexagonal of the South American Basketball Club League, Flamengo will stage the draw for the competition's groups this Friday (12.11), at 10 am, at the Rogério Steinberg Stadium, in Gávea. Immediately after, there will be a press conference, with the presence of the president of Abasu (South American Basketball Association), Gerasime Bozikis, the Greek, the president of the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB), Carlos Nunes, the president of the Rio de Janeiro State Basketball Federation, Álvaro Almeida, the vice president of Olympic Sports of Flamengo, Cristina Callou, the coach Paulo Chupeta and the players Marcelinho and Bábby.

The final hexagonal will be played from November 24th to 28th at the HSBC Arena. In addition to Flamengo, the 2009 champion and runner-up in the 2009/2010 season, the teams from Franca, Brasília, Boca Juniors (ARG), Quimsa (ARG), and Espartanos de Margarita (VEN) will also be competing for the title. The teams will be divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the semifinals. The final will take place on November 28.11th.
