Flamengo will have another chance to secure a spot in the NBB semifinals this Tuesday (08.05). The team faces Uberlândia at 20 pm at Uberlândia Tênis Clube in Minas Gerais in the fourth match of the best-of-five quarterfinals. Flamengo leads the series 2-1, and a victory will guarantee the team a spot in the next round. If necessary, the fifth and final match will be played on 11.05 at Tijuca Tênis Clube in Rio.

Flamengo managed to open up a 2-0 lead in the quarterfinals: they won the first game, in Uberlândia, 110-108, after two extra times, and the second, in Tijuca, 70-63. In the last game, also in the same place, the Minas Gerais team came out on top: 77-60.

Flamengo coach Gonzalo Garcia predicts another tough match, but believes Uberlândia will be under pressure and Flamengo will be able to take advantage of that.

"The level of both teams is very similar. No one expected a 3-0 victory in the quarterfinals. Now, they have to win to force a fifth game, so this could end up putting extra pressure on them, and we'll try to take advantage of that. Furthermore, we have to remain calm to avoid the attacking errors that hurt us so much in the last match," said Gonzalo Garcia.
