The opponent of Mais Querido this Friday (31), at 21:10 pm, at the ASCEB gym, in the federal capital, is Minas Tênis Clube. Tickets for the duel are already on sale on the Ingresso Rápido website. Rubro-Negro leads the competition with an 88.2% success rate (17 games and 15 wins), while Minas Gerais is sixth in the standings. However, for coach Gustavo De Conti, the Belo Horizonte team is one of the contenders for the national title.

"Minas is growing a lot in the competition, but it was natural for this to happen. It's a team formed at the last minute, and the coach practically changed the entire team from last season to this one. In my opinion, one of the favorites for the title because of the players' experience, international players accustomed to titles... for us, it will be essential to have good defense, good rebounding, because above all, they are very offensive players on the other side of the court," declares Gustavo.

Flamengo and Minas Gerais have met 26 times in the NBB, with a clear advantage for Flamengo in terms of victories. Flamengo has 23 wins at Gávea, compared to just three for the Minas Gerais team. The last meeting between the teams took place in the regular season of the NBB12 in October 2019. FlaBasquete defeated Minas Gerais 93-85 on their opponent's home field.
