Flamengo defeats Macaé in the State Championship
Rubro-negro wins second victory: 96 to 68. Team plays two friendly matches in preparation for the World Cup this weekend

This was the Pride of the Nation's second victory in the State Championship. Olivinha was the top scorer of the match with 18 points. The match was marked by the good debut of Argentine Walter Herrmann, who scored 15 points.
The game started off tight, but Flamengo managed to impose its rhythm and closed the first quarter 28-17. The second quarter was evenly matched, ending 17-16 for Flamengo. In the second half, Flamengo easily won, closing the sets at 25-17 and 26-18.
To watch the match, the ticket could be exchanged for one kilo of non-perishable food. An additional 178 kilos were collected for the Evangelical Home of Queimados (Estrada Padre José de Anchieta, 820 - Bairro São Francisco, Queimados).
Flamengo's next match will be on Saturday (September 20.09th) at 18 p.m. in Gávea. The team will play two friendly matches in preparation for the World Cup against Pinheiros. The second match will be on Sunday (September 21.09st) at noon. Admission is R$12; half-price tickets are available for those wearing a Flamengo shirt, students, children under 20, those over 10, and those with special needs. Ticket sales begin one hour before matches, and capacity is limited to 12 people.
