In a tight first half, the team relied on strong performances from forward Marquinhos, center Meyinsse, and point guard Gegê to defeat the Ceará team 106-73, earning their fifth consecutive victory in the competition.

Flabasquete, showing its calling card, opened the scoring with two free throws converted by Olivinha. Then, Marquinhos, in excellent form, hit a three-pointer for the Red-Blacks, extending the lead. However, the home team's strong start didn't deter Basquete Cearense. Despite trailing throughout the first quarter, the visiting team showed it would fight for the win. Despite this, it was with two points from Gegê that the Pride of the Nation closed the first half at 29-21.

In an even tighter second quarter, Basquete Cearense tried to close the gap, but for the red-and-black team, the centers stood out. With birthday boy Meyinsse and Felício, the team racked up defensive and offensive rebounds. Despite the already common drive of the Pride of the Nation athletes, the visiting team ended up winning the second quarter 21-20, but it wasn't enough to take the lead overall.

After halftime, Flamengo came back even more focused. While their opponents were committing numerous fouls and making numerous mistakes, Flamengo, on the other hand, dominated the field.
