Flamengo secured another major victory in NBB 12. Playing in Fortaleza, the team defeated Basquete Cearense 88-71, earning its fifth victory in the national competition. Marquinhos led the way with 19 points. 

The game started off electrifying, but with the Northeastern team slightly superior. With strong attacks from Felipe Ribeiro, Carcará started strong, and Flamengo responded with strong plays from Rafael Mineiro. After the first 10 minutes, the score was 25-18 for the Ceará team.

In the second quarter, star player Marquinhos emerged, scoring 10 points in the period. With a solid defense and a high-volume offense, Mengão scored well and dominated from start to finish, turning the score around and opening a healthy lead by halftime. In the end, the Rubro-Negro led 50-39.

After halftime, the teams traded shots and the game became more evenly matched. With Léo Demétrio's strong runs in the paint, FlaBasquete maintained its lead and held on for the entire ten minutes.

In the final period, Flamengo came out to seal the victory. With an even stronger defense and a well-oiled attack, the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo) scored consistently and in an organized manner. Olivinha achieved a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) with a solid three-pointer, and FlaBasquete confirmed its excellent performance on the Northeast tour and recorded its fifth victory in NBB 12.
