With a packed gymnasium of Flamengo fans and a best-of-five series lead (2-0), FlaBasquete lived up to the fans' expectations and won another game against Rio Claro, securing their spot in the NBB CAIXA semifinals. The scoreboard at Tijuca Tênis Clube showed the victory for the qualified team: 93-82 for Flamengo.

Marcelinho was the top scorer for Flamengo with 22 points. Center JP Batista had a great performance, achieving a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Ronald Ramon was the team's leading assist provider with six assists.

For a spot in the final, Flamengo will face the winner of Basquete Cearense and Mogi das Cruzes, who will face each other again this Sunday (24), at 19 pm, for the fourth game of the series, which is 2-1 for Mogi.

The 40 minutes
The game started very competitively, and it took both teams a few minutes to open the scoring. Rio Claro, pressured by the 2-0 series lead in favor of Flamengo, managed to take the lead, albeit by a small margin, until the end of the set: 11-16.

In the second quarter, Flamengo returned with a different approach and a more precise shot. With three-pointers from Marcelinho, Ronald Ramon, and Rafael Mineiro, as well as a great performance from JP Batista, who scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds in the period, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) won the quarter with more than double the points they scored in the first period and double the points their opponent scored in that period: 29-14.

The third quarter was more balanced, with Rio Claro improving offensively, but Marcelinho showed he wasn't there to play around, scoring three more three-pointers. Ronald Ramon, with two more, and Marquinhos, with another long-range shot, increased the lead to 17 points.

With ten minutes remaining on the clock, José Neto's team managed their lead well and comfortably secured their place in the semi-finals.
