Flamengo defeats Sport Recife in the LDB: 72 x 66

Flamengo maintained its 100% record in the Basketball Development League (LDB) by defeating Sport Recife at Arena Paraíso, in São Sebastião do Paraíso (MG) on the afternoon of this Wednesday (26.06). The 72 x 66 victory also had young Diego as the top scorer with 25 points.
"Before the game, (Paulo) Chupeta told us that we couldn't make any mistakes if we wanted to beat Sport. They have a team with experienced players and we knew the difficulties. But our group is very united and we showed that today. We didn't let our morale drop at any point and we achieved this important victory," said Flamengo center Douglas.
The team returns to the court on Friday (28.06), at 14 pm. The game will be against Vitória.
