Flamengo's dominance was evident from the start. The first quarter felt more like a friendly, and Flamengo was already playing relaxed against the Uruguayans. Without much pressure, but with responsibility, the balls fell, again three at a time like the previous game, and Mengão opened up a lead, eventually leading by more than 20 points, before closing with a 25-11 lead.

In the second quarter, Welcome began to get things right, but the gap was huge. Flamengo held on, and despite the many balls falling on the other side, there were no major threats to Gustavo De Conti's team. The coach gave Kevin Crescenzi and Rafael Mineiro more court time, resting and changing the team a lot. In the end, the lead was 13 points (43-30) and could have been even bigger, but it was enough.

Flamengo came out strong in the third quarter, determined to maintain their lead, or even increase it if possible. However, the Uruguayans managed to squeeze the deficit and narrowed it to five points, triggering Gustavinho's alert. The coach stopped the game and adjusted his team. Varejão fired a three-pointer, Marquinhos finished, and the teams went 10 points ahead (60-10) into the final 10 minutes. 

The game was practically over. But Gustavo maintained his full strength on the court, showing maximum respect until the end to avoid any surprises. When the Uruguayans arrived, Deryk hit from distance and opened up a goal. Varejão also showed up to score another double-double. Charquero was Welcome's main offensive option, but insufficient to truly threaten Flamengo. In the end, Gustavo brought on Matheusinho and João Vitor to give them both experience. Welcome still tried to rally, but the game's fate was sealed, and first place was assured.
