With the NBB (New Basketball Brazil) qualifying round over, Flamengo returns to training on Tuesday afternoon (April 05.04) in Gávea. On Thursday (April 07.04), the team travels to Mendoza, Argentina, to compete in the Interleague Tournament, which brings together the top four teams from the national tournament and the top four from the Argentine League. Having finished fourth in the NBB – with the same record as the top three teams, but losing on tiebreakers – Flamengo automatically secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the competition.

Flamengo makes its Interligas debut on Friday (08.04), against Obras Sanitárias, first place in the Argentine League, at 21 pm Brasília time. The group also includes Peñarol (second place in the Argentine championship) and Brasília (third in the NBB), who face each other at 19 pm. The other games will be played on Saturday (09.04) and Sunday (10.04), at 19 pm and 21 pm. The order, however, will be according to the result in the first round.

The other group includes Franca and Pinheiros, first and second in the NBB, respectively, and Libertad and Atenas, third and fourth from Argentina. The quadrangular takes place from April 15th to 17th in Franca, São Paulo. The top two teams from each group will play the final on March 21.03st in Brazil. If no Brazilian team qualifies, the final will be held in Argentina.
