The Red-Black Nation promises another show at the NBA Global Games Rio 2015, and to make the party even better, watch Flamengo vs. Orlando Magic in comfort, safety, and without a hitch. Arrive early (gates open at 16 p.m. and the game starts at 18 p.m.) to experience this authentic NBA experience.

To avoid traffic jams and disruptions, use public transportation and the alternative parking options indicated by the organization. You can check out all the options below.

Due to construction work at the Rio 2016 Olympic Park, the number of available parking spaces at HSBC Arena has been reduced. Please pay attention to the illuminated signs installed at BarraShopping for updates on available parking spaces at the designated parking lots (HSBC Arena, Shopping Metropolitano, Shopping Via Parque, and Cidade das Artes).

Public access to HSBC Arena
Due to construction work at the Olympic Park around the HSBC Arena, public access will only be via a side street, with entry through Gate 5.

Arriving by car from the South Zone
For those in the South Zone, the easiest access to HSBC Arena is via Barra da Tijuca. After passing the Elevado do Joá and entering Avenida das Américas, continue to Shopping New York City Center and keep right on Avenida Ayrton Senna (parking options at Cidade das Artes and Shopping Via Parque). Turn right at the fork, following the signs for Recreio dos Bandeirantes and continue to the Chico Anysio curve. Keep left and enter Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno (parking options at Shopping Metropolitano, no. 1.300). From there, simply stay in the right lane, paying attention to the signs.

Arriving by car via the Yellow Line
Access to the HSBC Arena via the Yellow Line is recommended for those coming from the North Zone or the city center. At the end of the Yellow Line, toward Barra da Tijuca, follow Avenida Ayrton Senna, staying in the right lane. Turn right onto Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno (parking option at Shopping Metropolitano, No. 1.300) and stay in the right lane, paying attention to the signs. Cidade das Artes is a parking option for the event.

- HSBC Arena Parking: Due to construction work at the Olympic Park, there has been a reduction in the number of parking spaces in the HSBC Arena courtyard. If parking is full, this information will be displayed on electronic signs installed at BarraShopping, and those arriving by car will be advised to use the parking lots at Shopping Metropolitano, Shopping Via Parque, and Cidade da Música. Parking is charged at all locations.

- Shopping Metropolitano Parking: Those who choose the Shopping Metropolitano parking lot (located approximately 2 km from the HSBC Arena and open until midnight) can use the vans and minibuses provided by the event organizers (between 3 pm and 11 pm). There is a fee for parking at the mall, but boarding to the HSBC Arena is free upon presentation of tickets and/or proof of purchase (for those who pick up tickets at the box office).

- Shopping Via Parque Parking: Those parking at Shopping Via Parque (located approximately 4 km from HSBC Arena and open until midnight) should go to the Via Parque BRT TransCarioca station. The round-trip fare costs R$6,80 (+ R$1,00 for those without a RioCard, which will be refunded if the card is returned), and the service operates until midnight. The estimated journey time is 5 minutes (disembark at Rio II station, approximately 450m away). There is a fee for parking at the mall.

- Cidade das Artes Parking: Using the Cidade das Artes parking lot, simply go to the Alvorada Terminal via the underground passage to board the BRT TransCarioca. Parking is open until 23 p.m.

Using the BRT TransCarioca
The closest station to HSBC Arena is Rio II (across from 2.200 Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno / about 450m away). A round-trip ticket costs R$6,80 (+ R$1,00 for those without a RioCard, which will be refunded if the card is returned) and the service runs until midnight (Expresso until 10pm and Parador until midnight). The estimated journey time is 10 minutes.

Using the BRT TransOeste
You'll need to transfer at the Alvorada Terminal and board a TransCarioca line. The closest station to HSBC Arena is Rio II (across from 2.200 Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno). A round-trip ticket costs R$6,80 (+ R$1,00 for those without a RioCard, which will be refunded if the card is returned). The service operates until midnight (Expresso until 10 p.m. and Parador until midnight). The estimated journey time is 10 minutes.

Using the Subway
Leaving Del Castilho to Riocentro

Using regular bus lines (between 10am and midnight)
You can take regular buses that pass near the Alvorada Terminal and board the BRT TransCarioca. There are also bus routes that run along Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno. See below for more information:
