In the last game of 2023, FlaBasquete maintained its streak of nine unbeaten games by beating Corinthians 95-72, on Friday night (29), at the Wlamir Marques gym, in another round of the NBB. Scott Machado was the highlight of the match with 17 points.

1st Bedroom
Loku Cuello scored the first two points of the match. Filipovity then shot for a three, but the ball fell. Cuello was on target again, scoring another three. The Pride of the Nation opened up a 13-point lead early in the game. Gui Deodato, with space, added another three to open up a significant lead for the Red-Blacks, who closed the quarter with a 28-18 lead.
2st Bedroom
On the court, Scott Machado made a good play in the paint and used the backboard to score two more. The "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved) had the confidence to work the ball on offense and finish shots. On the other hand, Corinthians made mistakes up front, but the red-and-black defense worked well. In the final part of the quarter, the São Paulo team attempted a comeback, but the " Orgulho da Nação" (The Pride of the Nation) maintained its momentum and remained ahead 44-35.
3st Bedroom
After halftime, Gui Deodato scored another three-pointer, maintaining the red-and-black advantage. The number 1 shortly after scored another three, showing his aim was calibrated. After the red-and-black team seized another offensive rebound, Kayo Gonçalves used the backboard and scored two more. Mengão continued to dominate the match, opening an 18-point lead: 74 to 56.
4st Bedroom
Having a great game, Scott Machado added two more for the Red-Blacks. Calmly, the Pride of the Nation built the lead without any scares. Gabriel Jaú also had a good game, being accurate with his shots. Dominant from start to finish, both defensively and offensively, Mengão closed the match 95-72, closing the year with their ninth consecutive victory in the NBB.
