Another victory! In the second game of the best-of-five NBB quarterfinals, FlaBasquete beat Fortaleza 86-66, on Tuesday night (7), at CFO, in Fortaleza. Gui Deodato and Scott Machado were the highlights of the match with 16 points each and essential for the red-black victory. The third game is scheduled for Thursday (9), still in Fortaleza - with the Pride of the Nation already having a chance to guarantee qualification for the NBB semifinals.

1st Bedroom

The match began with Flamengo dominating the game and boasting spectacular shooting. With 7 minutes remaining in the first quarter, the score was 0-13 for Orgulho da Nação, forcing the home team to call a timeout. After the break, Fortaleza began to counter Flamengo's attacks and began to close the gap, but it wasn't enough. The first quarter ended 23-15 for Flamengo, with Gui Deodato standing out.

2st Bedroom

Gui Deodato opened the scoring in the second half with a beautiful three-pointer, followed by a stunning play by Scott Machado. After these points, Flamengo remained within approximately 10 points. But the highlight of the second quarter was the "God of Race," Olivinha, who broke the historic 7.000-point mark in the NBB. The second half of the match ended with Flamengo ahead by 13 points, 49-36.

3st Bedroom

The break began with Fortaleza up 3 points, but the Pride of the Nation fought back and took the lead in the period thanks to a strong performance by Gabriel Jaú. Flamengo maintained the lead, and with approximately 3 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Maique dunked to further increase the pressure on the opposing team. At the end of the period, Flamengo led Fortaleza by 9 points, 60-51.

4st Bedroom

The fourth quarter began with pressure on the opposing team, with 10 points in less than three minutes. After that, the pressure continued, and Devon Scott scored a beautiful dunk to stay ahead. It was a period of excellent precision for the Pride of the Nation, who won the second game of the quarterfinals 3-86.

The Pride of the Nation returns to the court on Thursday (9) for the third game of the quarterfinals, against Fortaleza, at 19:30 pm, again at the Centro Olímpico-CE.
