After winning the 2009 South American League in March and the Brazilian Championship (NBB) in June, Flamengo basketball completed the "triple crown" by winning the State Championship this Wednesday night in Rio. Living up to expectations, coach Paulo Chupeta's team defeated Club Municipal 94-59 and claimed their fifth consecutive title in the competition at their opponent's home ground.
