Flamengo announces the signing of talented 26-year-old Argentine point guard Franco Baralle for the 2025/26 season. After two solid seasons with Minas Gerais, the player arrives at Orgulho da Nação with ambitions to contribute to the rotation of the point guard led by Sergio Hernandez.

Baralle stood out in the NBB playing for Minas, averaging 11,7 points, 3,4 assists and an efficiency of 11,3 per game in 34 matches in the 2024/25 season. In the previous year (2023/24), he had established himself as one of the league's main point guards, averaging 12,9 points and 5,2 assists.

Before arriving in Brazil, Baralle built a solid career in Argentina, playing for clubs like Atenas and Quimsa. During his two seasons with Minas Gerais, he played a decisive role in their run to the NBB final and was instrumental in important victories in the Super 8 Cup.

"My expectations for this first season are the best possible. I want to go all out, win titles, and honor Flamengo's name and history in basketball. We'll enter every competition with the mentality of being champions. I've always dreamed of joining a club as big as Flamengo, and now that I'm here, I'll do everything I can to live up to this Mantle," said Baralle.
