GAbril Landeira, one of the Gávea players, has been called up for the FIBA ​​Americas Youth Development Camp Brazil 2018. With the mission of further developing basketball, the event will be held from December 13th to 16th in Campinas and will feature Brazil's best players aged 13 to 16. The camp will be a great opportunity for the exchange of experiences among the country's top prospects and aims to further the development of young athletes. 

On the Official Website, the Gávea native spoke about the feeling of being called up for yet another Camp.

"I'm very happy to be able to participate in this great FIBA ​​Camp, where I will be able to learn a lot and have a great experience as an athlete and person. In this opportunity, I will be able to improve my technique and also hear advice from great professionals who will be there. present", said Gabriel.

Landeira will compete in the final stretch of the State Basketball Championship in the coming months with the Manto Sagrado. He's a key player for the red-and-black team's performance and is one of the team's standout players.
