The second name confirmed for the 2025/26 FlaBasquete season is already known to the Rubro-Negra Nation: Gui Deodato! Champion of the Super 8 and the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) last season, the winger renewed his contract with the club and will continue wearing the Sacred Mantle for another year.

With a personality both on and off the court, Gui won over the fans from the moment he arrived. He established himself as a key player in the squad and played a key role in the Super 8 Cup and BCLA victories.

In the continental final, he was the Pride of the Nation's top scorer, with 16 points in the final against Boca Juniors. In the Super 8, he was also decisive throughout the campaign, helping Flamengo lift the trophy for the third time—the second with Batman on the court.

Gui celebrated the renewal enthusiastically and emphasized the importance of the upcoming season. "I'm very happy to have renewed this season with Flamengo. It's going to be a special year, especially because of the World Cup, which is something I've always dreamed of. So, the expectations for this season are high. I'm extremely happy, excited, and eager for everything to go well in another season with Mengão," said the winger.

With the renewal, Gui joins Ruan Miranda as the players announced for the FlaBasquete 25/26 squad.
