Gui Deodato stays! The winger has renewed his contract for another season and is entering his second year with the Mais Querido. A Rio de Janeiro champion with the Rubro-Negro, Gui is looking for great achievements in 23/24.

The star, born in Bauru (SP), spoke about the importance of staying at Mengão.

"Expectations are the highest possible. It will be an honor to continue playing for Flamengo. In my first year at Flamengo, I saw the strength of the Red-Black Nation, and now it's time to take advantage of all this support to achieve everything we can this coming season," said the number 1.

"Gui is a force of nature, he's our Batman. He has to play freely, lightly, and with all his joy. He has Flamengo's DNA; we never considered not renewing his contract. He's another player I'm sure will shine this season," added Guilherme Kroll, Flamengo's Vice President of Olympic Sports.

After the renewal was confirmed, Gui Deodato joins Olivinha, Maique and Gabriel Jaú as the players announced for the FlaBasquete squad for 23/24.
