Last Wednesday (26.08), the Red-Black Nation gained another fan. Robert Horry, an NBA legend, with seven American League championships for three different franchises - Houston Rockets, LA Lakers and San Antonio Spurs -, surrendered to the beauty and passion of Flamengo fans.

Horry, who was at Maracanã to watch the second leg of the Copa do Brasil Round of 16, received a FlaBasquete Sacred Mantle as a gift from Jerome Meyinsse. Meyinsse also participated in events with fan club members during the match, following Matchday and Nação em Campo, and also taking over Flamengo's Snapchat account during this time. "This is fantastic. People in the United States don't support like this, with this enthusiasm. I wish it were like that. This passion for the game above all else, the way the fans are here in Rio, left me ecstatic," praised Horry, who declared himself another fan.

"I'm already sitting here on Flamengo's side (at Maracanã), supporting and wearing the Rubro-Negro and I'm a big Flamengo fan," he concluded.
