On Tuesday night (27), Flamengo's 89-75 victory over Vitória had a special flavor for Olivinha. With the baskets made at Arena Carioca 1, the player reached 5.000 points converted in the history of Novo Basquete Brasil, a historic and expressive mark in the competition.

"Few players have managed to reach this milestone. I'm very happy; there were hundreds of quality athletes with different characteristics than mine who passed through the League. Reaching this number is historic for me, a moment of great happiness. It's the result of the work I've done over these ten years in the NBB. I'm very satisfied," said the player.

"We had an excellent campaign. We only lost three times, which is Flamengo's second-best run in the competition. In the last six years, since Neto, Marquinhos, and I arrived, it's been the best. I'm happy with this run we've had. Now it's time to keep working hard and focus on the playoffs, because now is when it really counts. We managed to finish in the top four, which was our goal. Now it's time to work even harder, because it's time to separate the kids from the men. We're going after that title. Looking ahead, we now have the advantage of deciding a potential final at home," said Olivinha.
