During the Pride of the Nation's victorious match against the Macaé team this past Thursday (06.10), the red-black point guard Humberto left the court in the third quarter after suffering an injury to his left foot. The number 19, who arrived at Flamengo in July, was taken to the local hospital for treatment and, on the morning of this Friday (07.10), already in Rio de Janeiro, the fracture of the athlete's fifth left metatarsal was confirmed.

Humberto already has the area immobilized and should return to the courts in two months, according to the prediction of Flamengo's team doctor, Dr. Claudio Cardone.

Flamengo's next match in the Campeonato Carioca is next Tuesday (11.10), against the Botafogo team, at Tijuca Tênis Clube.

The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo adult basketball team relies on direct funding from its sponsor Estácio, in addition to investments from Tim via the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat for Sports, Leisure and Youth (ICMS).
