Flamengo's under-17 basketball team faces Fluminense this Friday (December 02.12nd) at 19pm at their opponent's home to decide the state title. Flamengo won the first match 83-79, and in the second match, the Laranjeiras team came out on top (56-68) and tied the series at 1-1.

The team's coach, Leonardo Bruno, shows no concern about the opponent's home court advantage and says the team is very confident of returning to Gávea with the title.

"The whole team is very motivated for this game. In the State Championship, we played four games against Fluminense. We won two and they won two. The game will be very close, but we are very confident of overturning this result and bringing the trophy home," he said.
