By Nathan Soares - inNOn Monday night (05), with a great performance in the last period, FlaBasquete defeated Caxias do Sul, at the ASCEB Gymnasium, by 77 to 58 and achieved its 22nd consecutive victory in the season.
The highlights of the duel were Yago (17 points, 8 assists), Marquinhos (15 points, 4 rebounds), Olivinha (11 points, 7 rebounds) and Luke Martinez (14 points).
The game
The game started off fiercely competitive, and Flamengo's 17 rebounds were crucial to its lead in the period. Hettsheimeir, the standout performer in this regard, rebounded seven balls. Flamengo's scorers were evenly matched, with Yago leading the way with five points. First-period score: Flamengo 15-10 Caxias do Sul.
The second quarter saw excellent defensive performance from Orgulho da Nação. Gustavinho's team continued to win, with Olivinha leading the team with six points. Flamengo, 27-24, Caxias do Sul was the second-quarter score.

Three-pointers from Marquinhos, Leo Demetrio, Luke Martinez, and Jhonatan Luz were crucial to Flamengo's dominance, which stretched the lead to 12 points with 2:40 remaining. Luke Martinez led the way with six points, making it 25-5 in the quarter. The final score was 77-58 for Flamengo.
