Everything is ready for the final phase of the LDB 2024! The FlaBasquete kids traveled to São Paulo yesterday, Sunday (25), to compete in the Série Ouro, which is the final quadrangular that will decide the tournament champion and those who qualify for the Interligas. 

Flamengo has had a flawless season thus far, winning 12 of their 12 matches, despite missing playmaker and team leader Matheus Leoni, who suffered a serious injury early in the LDB. These results secured Flamengo a spot in the final four of the country's premier youth competition, the Série Ouro.

Christiano Pereira, the team's coach, spoke about the campaign.

"So far, everything we've planned since the beginning of the competition has worked out. We've been taking things one stage at a time, one opponent at a time, without making excuses for the obstacles that arose. And so far, everything has worked out. We're now moving on to the final stage, with the title and a spot in the Interligas at stake," said the professor.
