The All-Star Game weekend wasn't just for active athletes. Retirees also took to the court at the Tancredo Neves Gymnasium, also known as Sabiazinho, in Uberlândia. And one of them was João Batista, Flamengo's assistant basketball coach, where he assists coach Paulo Chupeta.

Former Flamengo player João Batista had the joy of reuniting with some of the greatest names in Brazilian basketball history, such as Marcel and Guerrinha, Israel, Maury, and Cadum. He also had the honor of being coached by a living legend of Brazilian basketball, Ary Vidal.

\ The Veterans Game ended with the victory of the Uberlândia team over the Brazilian National Basketball League Team, 64 to 63.
