One of the club's promising young players, center João Vitor, who also plays for FlaBasquete, has received an invitation from Adidas to participate in the adidas Nations in Houston, Texas. The event will take place in August and will welcome young players up to 19 years old from various parts of the world. The Mais Querido's number 34 will be part of the Latin American team and will face teams from Asia, Africa, Canada, China, Europe, and the United States. The four-day event aims to help develop future basketball talent. The young athletes will be coached by former and current coaches from the NBA, the North American basketball league. 

 

The player spoke a little about his expectations for the event.

 

"I'm very excited about the competition, happy to have been called up and I'm training to honor the trust they placed in me. I want to give my best, to present my basketball in the best way. All the progress I've made will be put into practice," said the center. 

 

João concluded by showing gratitude and confidence for this great opportunity.

At the invitation of the LNB, the player will also participate in the Nike Camp, an event held between July 27th and 28th, in São Paulo, with the objective of developing the new generation of athletes to perform at a high level in the NBB teams and accelerate the technical evolution of the athletes aiming to reach the fullness of their capabilities.
