FlaBasquete players attend Arena NBA 3X
Marquinhos, Rafael Luz and Rafael Mineiro interact with fans in Flamengo's final NBA Global Games match

On Sunday morning (18.10) FlaBasquete players Marquinhos, Rafael Luz and Rafael Mineiro, fulfilled Flamengo's last commitments to the NBA Global Games 2015. The athletes, who made history the night before when receiving an American league team in Brazil for the first time, the Orlando Magic, attended to the public at the NBA 3X Arena, on Ipanema Beach, and handed out prizes for the 3x3 basketball matches that took place throughout the weekend.
On Monday night (October 19.10), the athletes will meet with the squad for the final match of the qualifying round of the State Basketball Championship, at the Tijuca Tennis Club gymnasium, at 20 pm. The opponent is Botafogo. Rafael Mineiro is not part of the squad, as he is contracted by Mais Querido to compete only in the Novo Basquete Brasil and Liga das Américas. At the end of this week, the team led by José Neto will travel to Fortaleza for two friendlies (Friday and Sunday) against the Solar Cearense team.
The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo adult basketball team receives direct funding from its sponsors – SKY, Estácio, and Peugeot – as well as investments from Tim through the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat of Sports, Leisure, and Youth (ICMS).
