Red-and-black players compete in the Qualifiers with the Basketball Team

This Thursday (13), at 20:30 pm, the Brazilian basketball team takes to the court against Canada for another challenge in the 2019 World Cup Qualifiers. With the presence of three red-blacks, Brazil will seek to qualify for the next phase of the competition.

Anderson Varejão, Jhonatan Luz and Rafael Mineiro will face the Canadian National Team at Place Bell Arena in Montreal, and the Virgin Islands, Sunday (16), at 21 pm, at Goiânia Arena. The matches will be broadcast on SporTV 2.

The Brazilian team finished the first phase in second place in Group B, with six points, five wins and one loss. Varejão was Brazil's standout player, with the best efficiency rating (18.8), rebound average (9) and points average (12.5).
