The most anticipated event in Brazilian basketball is approaching. On February 20th and 21st, the sport's top stars will gather for the NBB All-Star Game. The event will be held in Uberlândia, at the Tancredo Neves Gymnasium in the Sabiá Park Complex. For this season, the National Basketball League (LNB) is allowing the public to actively participate in choosing the starting lineups. The NBB is a championship organized by the National Basketball League (LNB), in partnership with Rede Globo and sponsored by Eletrobrás, Caixa Econômica Federal, and Spalding.

To highlight the All-Star Game, the LNB is offering a website with the entire schedule and information about the players participating in the grand show. This website allows users to access the list of athletes selected for the event. The players have been divided into two teams. Team A includes point guards Fúlvio (São José), Fernando Penna (Paulistano), and Manteguinha (Joinville); forwards Marcelinho (Flamengo), Thomas (Assis), Rogério (Franca), Guilherme Filipin (Londrina), and Alex (Bauru); and centers Murilo (Minas), Olivinha (Pinheiros), Deivisson (Araraquara), and Rafael Mineiro (São José). The following were chosen to lead this squad: Lula Ferreira (Universo) as coach; and João Marcelo (Paulistano) as assistant coach.

To face the group above, Team B will have the following roster: point guards Larry (Bauru), Valtinho (Universo), and Sucatzky (Minas); forwards Alex (Universo), Shamell (Pinheiros), Tony Stockman (Franca), and Jefferson Sobral (Joinville); and centers Guilherme Giovannoni (Universo), Baby (Paulistano), Tiagão (Joinville), Shilton (Joinville), and Estevam (Universo). The team will be led by Alberto Bial (Joinville) as coach; and Ênio Vecchi (Londrina) as assistant coach.

The voting mechanism works as follows: each person can elect only one point guard, two forwards and two centers per team, and the choice of more players will result in the cancellation of those chosen in excess, with the first vote given to the point guards and the first two elected for the forward and center positions prevailing.

In addition to the list of players who will participate in the All-Star Game on Sunday, the Hotsite also has a table showing all the athletes who will take the court for the Slam Dunk Contest and the 03-Point Contest, both on Saturday. In the slam dunk contest, the 2009 champion, Júlio Toledo (Araraquara), will face: Jhonatan (Araraquara), Parker (Assis), Eddy (Bauru), Teichman (Flamengo), André (Franca), Bristott (Joinville), Adriano (Londrina), Jeffries (Minas), André Bambu (Paulistano), Diego (Pinheiros), Roberto (Saldanha), Rafael Mineiro (São José), Alex (Universo) and McNeil (Vila Velha).

Following the dunk competition, the most accurate shooters will try to dethrone Fernando Fischer (Bauru), who won the 03-Point Tournament last year and is seeking his second title. The other participants will be: Luisinho (Araraquara), Borders (Assis), Soró (Bauru), Jefferson (Flamengo), Helinho (Franca), Espiga (Joinville), Guilherme Filipin (Londrina), Luiz Felipe (Minas), Betinho (Paulistano), Tiaguinho (Pinheiros), Amiel (Saldanha), Matheus (São José), Arthur (Universo) and Eric (Vila Velha).
