Study of the opponent
In recent years, we've become accustomed to having access to an image editing tool, which allows us to access a database of images of our opponents. With the captured material, we study what we can do offensively and defensively, the individual characteristics of each player, and we have access to games from practically all over the world, including the NBA. So, we've been trying to monitor the players who are playing this preseason. We have four games with them, and we're observing each player individually. We'll pass this on to the players, practice their movements, and how we can better defend and attack. This is a tool we can't ignore. Rodrigo (Silva) and Diego (Falcão) do this very well, with all the tactical and statistical analysis. This makes our team better prepared.
Motivation for another great challenge
Maybe the trick is to not think about it again. Think about "this time," "this match." It's not just another match, it's "the" match. The opportunity to play this game, which will be the first time in Brazilian basketball history against an NBA team in Brazil, is something we can't take lightly. The recognition of Flamengo's greatness, both at home and abroad, deserves a good performance. We want to live up to it.

The NBB is the only league in the world with which the NBA is directly involved. And they don't just jump into anything to see what happens. They saw that we have a good product with potential for growth, and Flamengo, with what it's been doing in recent years, winning titles and becoming a benchmark, can contribute significantly to the growth of basketball in Brazil. My role is to convey this idea to my team so they can execute it in the best possible way. With the qualified team we have, with character and personality, we'll fight for it.
