JP Batista has already made his mark at Flamengo. The center is in his third season with the club, where he won the NBB in 2015/2016 and completed 100 games in the competition for the Mais Querido. He achieved the milestone against Botafogo on March 12th, but the tribute was reserved for the following match, against Nação, at Arena Carioca 03.

Before the match against Basquete Cearense, the number 13 received a trophy bearing the number 100 for his achievement. During the match, JP played for 18 minutes and scored 15 points, becoming one of the team's standout players. After the game, he spoke about the feeling of reaching 100 games for the club.

"I'm just happy. I thank everyone involved. I don't think I could have achieved this milestone alone. It's an honor, and I'm very happy. Basketball players live a life where they don't know where they'll be next year. Reaching this milestone in Flamengo's third year is a huge honor."
