After two friendly matches in Pindamonhangaba against the Cameroon national team, the twelve players have been announced, and the Mais Querido's number 13 will represent the Red-Black Nation in the tournament.

JP, whose history includes winning the Pan American Games in Rio 2007 and Guadalajara 2015, as well as the 2009 Basketball Copa América, will be one of the pillars of the Brazilian National Team in this new beginning for another Olympic cycle.
