The second stop in São Paulo brought another victory. It was hard-fought, hard-fought, and achieved thanks to the talent of a trio essential to Flamengo and Brazilian basketball. Marcelinho, Marquinhos, and JP Batista secured a 78-67 victory over Pinheiros with a decisive performance in the final quarter. Together, the three scored 59 points, 17 in the final 10 minutes alone, and held off the São Paulo team, which played in front of a large crowd at the Henrique Villaboim Sports Center. 

With a spectacular performance, JP Batista was the star of the game, with 22 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Marcelinho finished with 18 points, and Marquinhos with 19, four rebounds, and six assists. Now, Flamengo is recovering and preparing for its final match in São Paulo, Saturday at 14 p.m., against Mogi. 

Flamengo started with Cubillán, Ramon, Marquinhos, Olivinha, and Varejão. But the home team started better, taking a 02-08 lead in the first two minutes. Flamengo had to close the gap over time, and they worked to do so. However, Pinheiros' three-pointers kept falling, and the lead grew, doubling to 11-22 with 1:30 remaining in the quarter. Marcelinho came on for Marquinhos, but the gap was too great for the remaining time, and Pinheiros closed the half ahead at 13-23. 

In the second quarter, MJ Rhett took the court and, with Marcelinho, helped change the situation. The first two minutes were all Flamengo, who reduced the deficit to three points. Flamengo stalled. Despite not conceding a single point in six minutes, they couldn't equalize and ended up seeing Pinheiros score and open up a five-point lead with four minutes remaining. The team settled in on the court and learned to work their plays better. With thirty seconds remaining, Marquinhos made a two-pointer and was fouled, reducing the deficit to one. Pinheiros then made a mistake on the attack and gave possession to Mais Querido, who used up the timeout and only released it with one second remaining, with Marquinhos' three-pointer, turning the game around. Pinheiros wasted another possession and handed it back to Flamengo. Neto called a timeout, set up the play, and on the return, JP received the ball open and scored two more, closing the first half at 31-27.  

Pinheiros came out stronger and more focused in the second half, taking a 7-0 lead after two minutes (31-34). Marquinhos pulled one back, and JP made it 38-37 with an assist from Olivinha. The red-and-black team's shooting improved significantly in the fourth quarter, with Marcelinho, JP Batista, and Marquinhos shooting very well, combining for 20 points in the half, essential to finishing ahead 57-44. 

The final quarter was electrifying. Back and forth. But here was Marcelinho, Marquinhos, and, most importantly, JP Batista. The center dominated the São Paulo paint, scoring eight points and grabbing three rebounds, completely dominating the final 10 minutes. Marcelinho was also on point, shooting three-pointers and piercing the Pinheiros defense from deep. With these three players...

 unbalanced, there was no way Mais Querido could let Pinheiros get there and it was just a matter of managing until closing the score with the seventh consecutive victory in the competition.
