American Kyle Lamonte is no longer a Flamengo player. The point guard signed, early this Wednesday afternoon (03.10), the termination of his contract with the club.

The decision was made by the player himself, who claimed he hadn't adapted to the team. Lamonte considered the red-and-black team very good and feared he wouldn't have a place in the group.

According to the termination, the American will not be able to play for any other Brazilian club or face Flamengo until June 2011, the period during which his contract with Rubro-Negro would last.
